Our Team

Virginia beach chiropractor office Dr. Samantha Coleman wants to care for your overall health, not just for your aches and pains. While that could be the reason for an initial appointment, it isn’t the reason patients continue care. Once in treatment, patients begin to understand how much the doctor cares about her patients’ complete health.

The background of a small Midwestern town produced a doctor known by her patients as a great listener. Her goal is to give you a better quality of life, so it’s important for her to get to know each patient’s wants and needs. She will talk about what you expect from your treatment and what you need from her and her team.

We strive to give the best care possible, if you would like to come visit our office or have a question for our knowledgeable team, please call us at (757) 271-0001, or email questions to [email protected]

Dr Samantha Coleman Chiropractor

Dr. Samantha Coleman, DC

Chiropractic Physician & Founder

Dr. Samantha Coleman, D.C. was born to be a doctor. The daughter of an outstanding country dentist and a dedicated, caring nurse, she learned at an early age the importance of a patient-centered healthcare approach. This helped shape her future and her path to an advanced education.

Dr. Samantha Coleman received a dual degree in biology and psychology from Virginia Wesleyan College, and then earned her Doctorate from Life University, graduating salutatorian of her class. Dr. Samantha Coleman is an Advanced Certified Distinguished Fellow in chiropractic biophysics and has advanced training in spinal biomechanics, nutrition and diet, exercise and rehabilitation. She is the only Advanced Certified CBP Chiropractor in Hampton Roads, Virginia.

Of all the awards and accolades she has received in her distinguished career, she is most proud of her Award of Clinical Excellence from Life University. She earned this award by demonstrating outstanding achievement in academic performance and service throughout her clinic career. “The criteria that determine excellence in the Life clinics are grounded in the Eight Core Proficiencies and require extraordinary patient care, outstanding communication and relationship skills, integrity and good citizenship, and the willingness to advance chiropractic knowledge and science.” Life University – Core Proficiencies

Early in her career in Hampton Roads, she was a child life assistant for the young inpatients at The Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters. She spent time helping them cope with being in the hospital and helped them during their stay with procedures and activities. Her bond with them left her wanting to do even more for patients. She also was a research assistant at the Center for Pediatric Research, which was affiliated with Eastern Virginia Medical School. Research helped her better understand how the body works at the cellular level and how it responds when the immune system is down. Both of these experiences give her a unique understanding of how the body works and how all the systems work together for overall health.

Dr. Samantha Motley, DC

Chiropractic Physician

Dr. Samantha Motley earned her B.S. degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Physical Therapy from James Madison University. During her time there, she developed a strong interest in how the body moves, heals, and adapts—something that ultimately led her toward a more holistic approach to patient care.

After graduating, Dr. Motley joined ChiroSolutions as a Chiropractic Assistant. This experience played a huge role in shaping her career. She worked closely with patients every day—helping with traction, guiding corrective exercises, and supporting them throughout their care plans. Being part of that process, and seeing patients improve over time, is what solidified her decision to pursue chiropractic.

She often says this is where she “saw what was really possible” when it comes to helping people move and feel better.

With that perspective, she went on to chiropractic school with the goal of one day returning to serve the same community that first inspired her. Today, she’s proud to be practicing in that very same office.

Dr. Motley focuses on structural and corrective care, with an emphasis on posture, spinal alignment, and long-term results. Her goal is not just to help patients feel better temporarily, but to help them actually fix the underlying issue and stay well.

She is also a certified Personal Trainer with a specialty in Corrective Exercise, which allows her to blend hands-on care with targeted movement and strengthening. She believes patients get the best results when they’re active participants in their care—not just passive recipients.

Having worked in the office before becoming a doctor, she understands the patient experience from start to finish. That perspective helps her connect with patients and guide them in a way that feels both supportive and practical.

Outside of the office, Dr. Motley enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. She has strong roots in the Virginia Beach area, where she lives with her fiancé, who serves in the local sheriff’s department, and their two dogs. You’ll often find her hiking, walking the beach, stand-up paddle-boarding, or out on the golf course.

She is also someone who genuinely enjoys learning and is always looking to grow. Dr. Motley regularly attends seminars and conferences to continue expanding her knowledge and bring new ideas and techniques back to her patients.

Above all, she is passionate about helping people move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing the things they enjoy.
