FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions about chiropractic care? Let’s see if we can help.
QIs chiropractic safe?
Yes, chiropractic care is safe if performed by a trained and certified chiropractor. According to the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), “Chiropractic is widely recognized as one of the safest non-drug, noninvasive forms of health care available for the treatment of neuro-musculoskeletal complaints.”
QWhat conditions does chiropractic treat?
Chiropractic care has been proven to help alleviate back pain, neck pain, sciatica pain, migraines, and headaches.
QWhat is so special about CBP?
Chiropractic BioPhysics or CBP is the most advanced, researched, and results-oriented technique in chiropractic. CBP is backed by over 315 peer-reviewed research papers, and continues to show extraordinary results for patients worldwide. While regular chiropractic focuses on short-term pain relief, CBP focuses on long-term results through addressing the root cause of pain.
QHow long does CBP treatment take to show results?
Depending on each patient’s unique health condition, length of treatment varies. Most patients experience some degree of pain relief after the first session. Typically though, attaining highly noticeable and lasting results may take 36 visits. It has taken years, or a sudden impact, to damage the spine, so correcting it back into its optimal shape takes time and patience.
QDoes chiropractic care hurt?
Absolutely not. Traditional chiropractic and CBP chiropractic care does not involve any invasive procedures or surgery. On the contrary, chiropractic care is non-invasive, therapeutic, and very comfortable. Chiropractors believe in healing the body through natural holistic means, and for that reason, they not only steer away from injections and invasive procedures, but also do not prescribe pain medication.
QAre there any side-effects to chiropractic care?
While complications from chiropractic care are extremely infrequent, 30% of patients undergoing chiropractic adjustments have reported soreness after being adjusted. In rare cases, additional side-effects were experienced by some patients with underlying conditions.
